WHAT: Chesterfield Township Democrats (CTD) are launching a Neighborhood Leaders Program (NLP) and are looking for volunteers to serve as Neighborhood Leaders.
WHY: The goal of NLP is to create a grassroots network of Democratic voters, one neighbor at a time. NLP aims to:
Ensure neighbors are engaged and knowledgeable about the ballot measures and candidates for office in their area.
Increase voter turnout.
HOW: Neighborhood Leaders will receive brief training, an election guide, and a list of “persuadable” voters in their area to reach out to approximately 2x/year. Persuadable voters are individuals who can be persuaded to vote for progressive-leaning issues and candidates.
Democracy is truly a grassroots effort, and we need boots on the ground to connect with our neighbors to let them know we are here in the community, their vote counts, and we can make a difference together.
